Wandsworth Living Streets supporters have been involved in all sorts of activities to improve the walking environment for everyone on foot. These include responding to Wandsworth Council and Transport for London (TfL) Consultations, lobbying Councillors, and discussing with Officers.

 We have also campaigned for:
  • New signals-controlled pedestrian crossings at the Brighton Yard entrance to Clapham Junction Station and Queen’s Circus on Queenstown Road near Battersea Park.
  • Reducing the speed limit on all residential roads to 20mph in the interests of reducing the number of people injured by vehicles.
  •  A more pedestrian-friendly environment in local town centres, including Tooting and Putney.
  • Effective measures to improve London’s appalling air quality.
