There are lots of things across the range of transport issues happening, or about to happen in our Borough. Cllr Cook is the Cabinet member responsible for this. The meeting will be a great opportunity to hear his plans. And to be able to discuss them with him.
In addition, David Irwin who is an urban planner and WLS supporter will talk us through Wandsworth Living Streets’ attempt to encourage the Council to raise its game significantly in all matters relating to transport, and in particular, the public street realm as it impacts on all of us when we moving around on foot.
The evening should be very interesting. And will be an opportunity for everyone present to engage in the discussion.
Do bring a friend. We need to expand residents’ awareness of these issues.
