We are very privileged to be getting Tim to speak. Tim is a Londoner and one of the UK’s leading thinkers on childhood. He believes that “We need to reconnect children with the people and places around them, and with the natural world on their doorstep. We need to design neighbourhoods so that it is easy for children to walk, cycle and play near their homes…. In short, we need to expand the horizons of childhood.”
Tim will talk about how we can make a huge city like London a more conducive place for children to grow up in confidently and safely.
There will be lots of opportunities to put questions to him, and to get his ideas about the things we can do locally to make Wandsworth a better place for children.
You can find out more about more about Tim Gill by going to his website — http://rethinkingchildhood.com/
